We are here – both technical support and consulting support – to help you and your unit maximize the value of the service.

U of I Support for Splunk Users

Below are the methods and means to communicate with the Splunk service team – or to get help from the U of I Splunk community of users.

  • Submit a request for support or service: TechSvcsSplunkReq@illinois.edu – Your direct line to create a new ticket for Splunk service or support.  (Please only use when wanting to generate a new ticket.)  Coming soon, a request intake form in Team Dynamix.
  • Chat and Crowdsource with Us and other U of I Splunk Users (Microsoft Teams): https://go.illinois.edu/splunk-teams – Contribute to and benefit from the wisdom of the community of Splunk Users at U of I. (Channels available for topical focus.)
  • Email the Splunk Service Team Members:  splunk-support@illinois.edu – Use this address to communicate directly with us, the members of the Splunk Service team. This will not generate a new ticket.
  • Email the Splunk System/App Administration Team: splunk-admin@illinois.edu – Use this address selectively to reach the Splunk administrators for more technical issues (for example, to alert us of issues with the Splunk environment that represent something more substantive than a typical support request).
