Tree Identification Walk With Master Gardeners at Riverside Park

Join Master Gardeners Kevin Ahlfield and Norma Allen to learn about 14 different tree species planted at Riverside Park. Learn about key ID characteristics as well as how to use a dichotomous key to identify trees. Learn how to prevent urban tree damage to protect your backyard trees and some of the diseases or pests associated with these tree species. Date in the series include:

• Wednesday, June 12  |  10-11:30 a.m.
• Wednesday, October 9  |  4:30-6:00 p.m.

Riverside Park is located at 2610 West Riverside Park, Murphysboro, IL 62966. Please park near Chep Kessel Field.
