Spring Break 2022: Innovation & Exploration

Plano Community Library | March 21-22

Imagine life beyond Earth. Join University of Illinois Extension educators as they guide you through “A Galactic Quest” with a stop at “Mars Base Camp.” Youth in grades K-3 and grades 4-6 will discover an expanded horizon as they take on 4-H National STEM Challenges to learn about aviation, drones, and space. Hands-on activities developed by local educators and national land grant universities will keep youth engaged and curious about aerospace and space exploration. This FREE Spring Break program in offered in partnership with local libraries as a two-part experience on two consecutive days. 

Who: Youth | Grade levels K-3 and 4-6

When: March 21-22 | 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (K-3) | 1:30-3:30 p.m. (4-6)

Where: Plano Public Library | 15 W. North Street | Plano IL 60545

Space is limited and registration is required. Register through the Plano Community Library at the youth library desk or call them at 630-552-2025.

Appropriate safety measures, such as face coverings, will be followed for in-person programs.
