ENG 451 course information for Summer 2015

Welcome to the informational site for ENG 451: Success in the Workplace!

ENG 451: Success in the Workplace is an online course worth two hours of credit during the Summer term. Undergraduate students from any academic unit who have an internship or coop during the summer that is related to their future career plans are eligible to enroll. The course covers basic business principles and helps student to enhance their interpersonal skills. Lectures are delivered online asynchronously, meaning students can watch the lectures at any point during the assigned period, and after watching the lectures, they complete a short quiz. Each week, there is a brief weekly writing assignment, typically between 300 and 600 words. The course is 8 weeks and runs from May 26 to July 19 during 2015. The course can be used to fulfill the College of Engineering social sciences/humanities requirement and it can be used by international students in the College of Engineering to fulfill CPT requirements.

Tuition for the course can be found on the registrar site and is consistent with summer tuition based on the year students matriculated.
