Learn new skills and practice them with your dog in this online SPIN club about dog training, care, communication, and more. (SPIN stands for SPecial INterest)

Who: Recommended for youth (ages 8-18)

What: Learn and discuss dog care, showing and obedience skills, fun tricks, safety, and more. Experts also will share how to communicate with your dog, and read their body language.

When: Meets for 6 weeks on Sundays, 2-4 p.m. beginning Feb. 21, 2021 (ending March 28, 2021)

Where: Online (typically via Zoom format)

How: Members join online meetings to learn, and then practice skills at home. Youth will upload videos of themselves working with their dogs to get helpful feedback from dog training experts. (It may be helpful to set up a free Box.com account)

Cost: $20* 4-H enrollment fee per youth. 4-H Enrollment will need to be completed via 4-H Online (look for more instructions after registration).

Supplies: Materials will be provided (available for pick-up or mailing)

Registration is required. Registrants will receive secure virtual meeting information and other instructions closer to the event. 

Registration opens Jan. 21 and closes Feb. 17, 2021 (or when class meets capacity).
