  • Illini Union Art Gallery exhibition to feature photographs of Mexican Muralism

An exhibition at the Illini Union Art Gallery during September will feature photographs of artwork from the Mexican Muralism movement. Murals created on the campus of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in Mexico City have been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. “La Creación” was Diego Rivera's first mural and is seen as the beginning of the Mexican Muralism movement.
